In order to implement Zigong City's measures to strengthen the safety management of hot work such as electric welding, further strengthen the construction of welding operation skill talent team, improve the safety skill level of welders, and build a team of skilled talents with superb business and strong work style, on August 30, the "2024 Zigong Electric Welder Safety Skills Competition" was successfully held. Recommended by the Zigong Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the company's welding skill talents Wan Kai, Huang Wei, and Zhang Xiaobo formed a team to participate in the competition and won the first prize in the 2024 Zigong Electric Welder Safety Skills Competition.

It is understood that this competition is divided into two parts: theoretical examination and skill practice. 30 welders from 10 teams from different industries in the city participated in the competition, competing on the same stage and showing their talents. At the practical competition site, the contestants wore flame-retardant work clothes, holding welding tongs in one hand and masks in the other. The flying welding sparks tested every contestant. The contestants of the company's representative team always kept in mind the whole process of hot work safety management, and won unanimous praise from the judges with their rich experience and safe operation skills.

Behind the honor is hardship, sweat, responsibility, and infinite motivation for future work. Skilled personnel, as the largest and most practical team in my country's talent team, are an important force supporting China's manufacturing and creation. The company will take this competition as an opportunity to organize skill improvement training and various skill competitions with the provincial model worker innovation studio, the provincial Huang Ming welding skill master studio, the welding training center, and the master-apprentice relationship as carriers, continuously train and deliver skilled personnel for the front line of production and manufacturing, further strengthen the construction of the skilled personnel team, and improve the safety skill level of skilled personnel.
