On the morning of September 20, local time, at the Presidential Palace in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso cordially received Li Renchao, Chairman of CWPC, and his fellow entrepreneurs to discuss cooperation in developing power, agriculture, and municipal infrastructure projects in Burkina Faso. Government officials participating in the talks included the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso, the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to China, and the Chairman of the Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce.

During the talks, President Traoré extended a warm welcome to entrepreneurs from China. President Traoré stressed that Burkina Faso has an urgent need for infrastructure construction, especially electricity, during its critical period of development. He pointed out the importance of developing clean energy, which will promote the diversification of Burkina Faso's economy. A stable power supply will greatly promote industrial and commercial activities and lay a solid foundation for Burkina Faso's sustainable development. He said that he expects Chinese companies to play their advantages and help Burkina Faso's development. President Burundi pointed out:

2. Burundi's current stage of development has great development space for Chinese companies, especially in the energy, agriculture and food processing industries; 3. China has experience in poverty alleviation, and we hope that entrepreneurs will bring Chinese wisdom to Burundi and promote its development;
4. China's foreign policy of non-alignment and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, we are assured in our cooperation with Burundi.
Li Renchao shared the rich experience of CWPC in the field of power development, especially the successful cases in renewable energy utilization projects. He emphasized that CWPC attaches great importance to the power supply with Burkina Faso and hopes to establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with the Burkina Faso government and relevant institutions. He said that CWPC will increase the development of renewable energy power generation projects such as gas-steam combined cycle, biomass power generation represented by cotton stalks and tomato stalks, waste incineration power generation, photovoltaic power generation, etc., to inject vitality into Burkina Faso's power supply and economic prosperity. In the afternoon of the same day, witnessed by Mr. Bi Dawu, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to China, Zhong Wenqiang, Director of International Business Market of CWPC, signed a power development contract with the Office of Major Issues of Burkina Faso on behalf of the company. This cooperation marks the further deepening of cooperation between the two sides in the field of energy. CWPC will actively contribute to the construction of power infrastructure and sustainable development in Burkina Faso.
