From September 10 to 12, a contest of skills and passion quietly kicked off in the hot land of CWPC - the company's 2024 Skills Competition was in full swing. The competition was attended by technical experts in welding and lifting operations on the front line of the company's production. With their persistent pursuit of skills, they gathered together, sweated and shone on the field.
Welding Competition
The welding competition adopts the form of single competition, and the individual score is composed of the theoretical test score and the practical competition score. In the written test, the contestants actively think and calmly answer the difficult questions.
At the actual operation site, the contestants held protective masks, held the welding gun tightly, adjusted the welding angle accurately, and flexibly changed the welding direction, striving to make the weld surface smooth and flawless. On the field, sweat flowed down the brim of the hat, and welding sparks splashed, forming a moving picture. Every welder went all out, and every swing of the gun and every welding was a challenge to his skills. The interweaving of sweat and sparks showed the nobleness and greatness of the profession of welder.
Lifting Operation Competition
Participants in the lifting operation category must accurately lift a paint bucket filled with 80% water, bypass obstacles and move it to the designated location within the specified time, while ensuring that the operation is completed safely and without spilling water. The judges will give a comprehensive score based on the operation accuracy, operation time, water spillage and whether the safety operation procedures are strictly followed.
During the competition, each team showed off their "special skills". From tying the wire rope to adjusting the center of gravity to issuing instructions, each link is crucial. Although the crane is huge, the contestants remained calm, remained calm, and completed all operations meticulously. They were so nervous that sweat soaked their backs.
Awards
After fierce competition, the first, second and third prizes were awarded to different companies under the objective and fair judgment of the referee group. Liu Qin, vice chairman of the labor union of the joint-stock company, Liu Xuanming, deputy general manager and chairman of the labor union of CWIC, Cheng Sirui, director of the water-cooled wall plant, Zhu Dabin, director of the heavy-capacity plant, and Chen Liang, director of the serpentine pipe plant, presented awards to the winners respectively.
