On December 24th, Li Renchao, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of CWPC, attended the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Tianjin "Going Global" Cooperation Platform. The theme of the meeting was "Integrating into a New Phase and Seizing New Opportunities," aiming to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee and the Fourth the Belt& Road Forum for International Cooperation. The goal was to promote the integration of Tianjin's foreign trade and economic enterprises into the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and to serve high-level opening-up. During the meeting, leaders from the National Financial Regulatory Administration, the Municipal Government, the Municipal Commerce Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and the Tianjin Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) delivered speeches. Representatives from six enterprises spoke, and two experts conducted teaching exchanges. Li Renchao, as one of the enterprise representatives, also delivered a speech at the meeting.

Li Wenhai, the deputy mayor of Tianjin pointed out that as a strategic city for the country's foreign trade and economic activities oriented towards the east and the sea, Tianjin has a solid foundation and significant opportunities for expanding overseas. The Tianjin Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure) has closely aligned with the "Going Global" trend and the needs of enterprises, actively serving the city's high-level opening-up strategy and building a unique industrial ecosystem in Tianjin's foreign trade and economic sector. The Tianjin Municipal Government will continue to provide excellent services to enterprises, fully supporting their growth and strengthening in Tianjin, and helping them leverage government-built platforms to achieve greater development. Deputy Mayor Li also hope that foreign trade and economic enterprises would make full use of the platform's resources, collaborate for mutual benefit, go global together, and jointly contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative.

Li Xiuping, General Manager of the Tianjin Branch of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure), introduced that the Tianjin "Going Global" Cooperation Platform focuses on "government promotion, financial support, and enterprise collaboration." It has created a new model of "going global together," where central enterprises lead state-owned and private enterprises, and foreign economic activities drive foreign trade, achieving remarkable results in helping enterprises expand overseas collectively. Since its establishment in 1983, CWPC has been focused on the manufacturing of power plant equipment and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects for over four decades. It is the fourth enterprise in China to possess ultra-supercritical power generation technology, with independent intellectual property rights and a leading position in multiple power generation fields. CWPC's products and services cover more than 60 countries worldwide, as well as over 30 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in China, including Hong Kong and Macau.

Responding to the platform's call, CWPC has set up a branch in Tianjin, marking an important step in the company's strategic global energy market layout. Tianjin will become an important fulcrum for CWPC's future collective development and overseas expansion.
